About

Hi, I'm Daniel – born in 1990 and living in the countryside near Cologne, Germany.

I enjoy the calm of nature – maybe that's why you'll rarely find cities in my photos. I've been into photography since school, and during my training as a media designer, I got my first camera and the desire to capture the world grew stronger.

In 2016, I was finally able to make that dream come true with a three-week trip to Costa Rica. Since then, I've tried to travel to new countries every year and document what I experience. Each of these journeys has stayed with me in its own way.
In 2019, for example, I traveled through the desert and rugged landscapes of Namibia with a 4WD and a tent. I was deeply impressed by the silence, the vastness, and the wildlife of Africa. After many more trips, my highlight so far came in 2025: one month in New Zealand. The diverse landscapes, the warmth of the people, and the great food made me fall in love with the country.

Since 2022, I've also been working part-time as a photographer. Occasionally, I take on assignments – mostly while traveling, for example for outdoor brands. I also offer prints of my photos on request – on paper, acrylic glass, or aluminium dibond.
